South Florida Home Improvement Since 2012

Kitchens, roofs & impact windows, built for South Florida.

Licensed home improvement for homeowners in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade, clearly scoped, properly permitted and specified for the heat, the rain and hurricane season.

  • Licensed contractor
  • Serving South Florida since 2012
  • Palm Beach · Broward · Miami-Dade
  • Permit & inspection guidance
  • Responsive, local team

Three projects that decide how a South Florida home lives and holds up.

The kitchen is where the house is used hardest. The roof and the windows are what protect it. BH Construction LCG focuses on exactly these three, so you work with a team that knows the materials, the permitting and the order of work for each, rather than a generalist learning on your home.

We have served homeowners across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade since 2012. Every project starts the same way: a conversation, a visit, and a written scope you can read before anything is torn out.

Focused on three services, done properly.

Each is a significant investment in your home. Each deserves a contractor who knows its details, not one of forty line items on a generalist’s menu.

Kitchen Remodeling

A kitchen that works as well as it looks.

We plan circulation, storage and lighting before we pick finishes, so the room you end up with fixes what frustrated you about the old one.

  • Layout planning that solves circulation, storage and prep space
  • Cabinetry, countertops, lighting and fixtures coordinated as one scope
  • Work sequenced so trades are not waiting on one another

Roof Replacement

The layers you never see decide how a roof performs.

We look beneath the surface (decking, underlayment, flashing and ventilation) so the new roof is specified for South Florida weather, not just replaced like-for-like.

  • Assessment of decking, underlayment, flashing and ventilation, not just the surface
  • Clear guidance on repair versus replacement before anything is proposed
  • Permits and required inspections coordinated as part of the job

Impact Windows

Protection that is always in place.

Impact-rated glass and frames protect the opening without shutters, and typically make the home quieter and cut the heat and UV that come through the glass.

  • Storm protection without putting up shutters before every storm
  • Laminated glass that typically reduces outside noise, heat gain and UV
  • Products and installation specified for your county’s code requirements

From drawing to finished room

Every project starts on paper. Drag the line to move between the design drawing and the finished result.

Scope in writing, before work starts

You know what is included (and what is not) before anything is demolished.

  2. 02

    The right sequence

Trades, deliveries and inspections are planned in order, so days are not lost waiting.

  3. 03

    Materials chosen for this climate

Sun, humidity, salt air and wind shape every specification we recommend.

  4. 04

    One point of contact

You always know who to call and what is happening next on your project.

Built for where you actually live.

A roof, a window or a kitchen that would be fine in Ohio can fail early here. Location changes the specification.

  • Sun & UV

Year-round sun fades finishes, heats attics and punishes the wrong roofing and glazing choices.

  • Heat & humidity

Moisture affects cabinetry, adhesives, ventilation and how every material ages.

  • Heavy rain

Afternoon downpours test flashing, valleys, window sills and drainage every summer.

  • Hurricane season

From June through November, attachment, impact ratings and opening protection matter most.

  • Permits & code

Florida Building Code, HVHZ product approvals in Miami-Dade & Broward, and city-level review.

What happens after you get in touch.

No guesswork and no pressure. Here is exactly how a project with BH Construction moves from first call to final walkthrough.

    Final walkthrough

Required inspections are completed and we walk through the finished work with you before we call it done.

Questions homeowners ask us

All frequently asked questions
Which areas does BH Construction LCG serve?

We work with homeowners across South Florida’s three main counties: Palm Beach County, Broward County and Miami-Dade County. If you are unsure whether your address is covered, call (888) 780-0454 and we will tell you straight away.

Is BH Construction LCG licensed?

Yes. BH Construction LCG is a licensed contractor and has served South Florida homeowners since 2012. We are happy to provide license details when you speak with us.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Roof replacements, window and door replacements and many kitchen remodels require a building permit in Florida. We guide you through what your project needs, coordinate the permit with the right building department and schedule the required inspections as part of the work.

What happens after I request a consultation?

A member of our team reviews your request and contacts you by phone to talk through the project, timing and budget. If it is a good fit, we arrange a visit to see the home and take measurements, then prepare a written scope and proposal for you to review. There is no obligation at any stage.

Can I combine more than one project?

Yes. Homeowners often pair a roof replacement with impact windows, since both protect the building envelope and can be planned together. Choose “Multiple projects” on the form and we will discuss sequencing and scheduling with you.

Do impact windows replace hurricane shutters?

Properly rated and installed impact windows and doors are an approved form of opening protection under the Florida Building Code, so shutters are generally not required on those openings. That means nothing to put up or take down when a storm is forecast.

What is the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ)?

The HVHZ is the part of Florida (Miami-Dade and Broward counties) with the strictest building code requirements for wind. Roofing and window products used there must carry approvals for the zone and be installed to those tested methods. Palm Beach County is outside the HVHZ but still has very high design wind speeds.
